Our Story
CoCoMe was founded in 2011 by Sharon, who worked tirelessly to determine and understand the right combination of ingredients and methods ensuring our yoghurts and custards have a robust flavour and creamy consistency.

Our coconut yoghurt is made by adding non-dairy cultures to coconut milk to ferment some of its carbohydrates, this produces acid which is responsible for our yoghurt’s creamy consistency and tangy taste as well as many health benefits including:
Probiotics - help balance microflora in the gut
Saturated Fats - one serving contains 4.5g of the only saturated fats essential for health
Fibre - one 170g serving of unsweetened coconut yoghurt provides approximately 6g of fibre
Calcium and Magnesium - an average serving provides 25% to 30% of the recommended daily intake
Vitamins and minerals - one 170g serving provides up to 30% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin B12 and vitamin D.
Antioxidants - coconut yoghurt is a great source of antioxidants.
How it all began…
Sharon began researching and experimenting with foods rich in probiotics to improve her own health and clean eating journey, after her life took an unexpected turn.
With a scientific and medical background, Sharon soon realised her passion for research and healthy eating was leading her on a journey as she began to understand the gut brain connection and how different foods impacted her physical and emotional wellbeing.
Giving Sharon strength and reigniting her zest for life, CoCoMe became Sharon’s passion and purpose - sharing her knowledge and experiences, which she hopes will help others too.
